Follow the journey of a plant's life cycle as we learn the foundations of horticulture. This hands-on science series blends gardening, engineering, and fun, helping kids develop a life-long passion for plants.
Week 1: Learn about plant care 101 as we begin two different growing experiments from seed.
Week 2: As some of our seedlings begin to sprout, let's take some time to learn about all the parts of a plant with an edible activity.
Week 3: Let's prep our plants for the garden and explore earth friendly garden materials.
Week 4: It's TIME! This week, we'll be moving our plants to their permanent homes in the garden and learning all about soil science.
Week 5: Agriculture and engineering go hand in hand. This class will focus on the many ways to get water to our plants.
Week 6: Today, our plants will make their journey home. We'll get our plants ready to travel in a home-made carrier and reach final conclusions from the growing experiments.
